"Scars"

I'm not sure if it's really visible in picture, but I've been drawing so much with my tablet this last month that I've abrased skin from the parts where my fingers touch the tablet! The skin is red and it starts to sting every time I use the tablet for a longer time.
Does this give me extra credit or am I just a n00b?
