Eeeh.. So.. I've been really into making line art portraits lately and today I've started with a new one that I got big plans for! This is how it looks for the moment. I'm planing on doing the same kind of "line-filling" on the backpack, sunglasses and the soda can, but this looks good for now~ The picture is huge, 3140x5000 pixels and I'm using brushes in sizes 1,2,3 and 5..
I'm not sure if it's really visible in picture, but I've been drawing so much with my tablet this last month that I've abrased skin from the parts where my fingers touch the tablet! The skin is red and it starts to sting every time I use the tablet for a longer time. Does this give me extra credit or am I just a n00b?
OMG I'M DONE!! I'm DONE with the first half of the music-video-animation-project-thing! 264 frames. Fuck. Feels good to be ahead of the schedule, hopefully I'll have more energy for drawing other pictures now again. It's mostly been sketches and chibis lately. And since I've spent a lot of hours on this project I've often counted it as "todays picture". So, prepare yourself, April will be a pretty boring looking month when I post all the pictures.
Since I fucked up with updating my One picture a day project I'll try to get some order of it now.. Let's start with the last pictures of February and the pictures I've found from Mars! They are not in order, but if you're curious to know I've probably written the date in one of the corners of the picture.
I have a hard time with money right now, but I neeeeed new shoes..!
So instead of crying to my parents for money I've decided to make a learning challenge of it. I'm still planing how to do this, but the idea is that I'll start selling pictures and take on commissions~
So keep your eyes open!!
I don't have much to do at my internship at the moment, so I'm making up my own tasks for practice. Yesterday I did a walk cycle with a stick figure in Flash. Walk cycles is something reaaally good to know and also Flash is a great animation program I haven't spent enough time with.
But, in the end, I ended up in Photoshop.. I traced a simple 8-frame walk cycle and added my own style to it, hope you like it!
A long time ago I was going to make a t-shirt design for a band, but the guy stopped answering my e-mails.. I did a few sketches but I had forgot that I did this coloured version. I still like it by some reason.
This one looks a bit retarded, but it made me happy! I'm about to make more pixel art so I guess this might be a good picture to look back on while I'm doing that.
Over a year ago I got the idea to make a short movie about the things I use for drawing, painting etc. and today I found the material for it! I have no idea if I'll make anything of it, but it made me happy finding it~
I got a lot of help from my fantastic friend Fredrik, he also had a lot of patience with me while we did this!!
Another thing that made me happy was realizing I now have more Copic's
