Tyler Oakley

I don’t know when I started on this portrait but I’ve had it fairly done for a long time. Why I haven’t posted it is because I’ve been fixing and trixing with the tiniest of details on and off.. But now I feel like I can’t call it a WIP any more, it just needs to be done! So here it is, the portrait of my favourite YouTuber; Tyler Oakley!

Photoshop Magic

I highly recommend you to watch this video! If not for technical use in Photoshop it's also good inspiration. I didn't know about this sort of simple adjustments and thought I'm far away from being the only one

I found it at tumblr, and the user MAKKON made some really amazing tests with information from this video:

Visual People

I don't know if I've shared this before but I've been looking for a job for quite a while now. Being a freelancer doesn't really suit me..

Well yesterday I finished an application that was really fun to make! The company that hired didn't want any traditional work application; We don’t want CVs or covering letters. We are visual people and we want to see something that you have created just for us.

So that's what I did! I won't share the text with you but here are some illustrations I made

I really don't think I'll get the job, this is not the style they're asking for and the office is in the UK. Even tho the job seems fantastic I mostly did this as practice and since it was such a fun task

Montana CHALK

Stumbled upon this smart, new product from; Montana CHALK

If I got it right, it's like a ordinary chalk pen/crayon- but as a spray! Probably useless for the standard graffiti art but a fun and easy way for things that isn't supposed to be permanent. I don't know what I would use it for, but I'm curious to get one just to try it out

Smått och Gott

As you know I'm drawing shit loads of self portraits now, so often when I feel like drawing something else its just small, fun stuff.

Most of these are from when I've been a substitute teacher.
Its nice to have something to go back to and colour whenever I feel for it (or just leave it as line art).

MOAR!!

Time for a self portrait update!

Also;
In December I got really sick, I was basically just laying in my bed for four days.. Anyway, this made me get behind with a lot of my self portraits. Sometimes I skip a day and then the next day I draw two instead of one. Well, the problem here is that I STILL haven’t done the ones I missed in December, so what really is nr.180 could be numbered as 125 but made on the same day as nr. 194! *sigh*
To solve this I’ve decided to number them as (for example) 125_FILL and date them on the day they’re made. Hopefully this will get things in order again and I can go on as usually

Yaaay, my latest illustration work is up! I did these two dogs and the only thing I knew was that they were made for a logo. Down below is my original drawings and at Hundesalon Pan you can see them in use

Fionna and Cake

Made this for For Human People (The Drawing Board), obviously a contribution for the Adventure Time theme. I had the sketch for this but did all the line art and colouring today- six hoers before the deadline!! Wish that I hadn't forgotten about the deadline so I could have more time adding details and a background.

Well well, I'm glad I made it in proximally 5h. and that I actually sent it. Wish me good luck!

Potato Cat

Yesterday I did something I think I've never tried before- making a pattern with a potato!

I was going to give this plane, grey t-shirt to my friend who love cats, but after I saw this DIY by Bobsmade and thought it was too perfect not to pimp up. It was fun, easy and probably something I'll use again in the future~

Metro 2033

I'm currently reading Metro 2033, a book that takes place in future Moscow where the people is living down in the metro. They locate through the different subway lines and talk a lot about how beautiful some of the stations are and I finally (I've read about half the book now) looked them up. Seriously. I want to go to Moscow now and just ride the subway and see all these fantastic stations! I looked them all up but also found this site with all this fantastic footage of what must be some of the most decorative, beautiful ones. They give me the feeling of being in an Victorian castle, a space station, a location made for mystery or a sterile operation room. Very Russian anyway.

No I couldn't decide for just a few. Yes there's a lot of basic/boring/ugly ones as well.

Jag bor i en banan

Before Christmas I got this feeling that I had to start with cross stitching again- so I did!
I've made two of them, one I sent to my friend Max and the second one, eeeh.. Let's just say it need some more work. Whenever it's finished I'll probably keep it for myself but maybe put it up for sale. I won't be able to give it away and you'll understand once you see it!

Here is the one I made for Max, he's from German and this is a random Swedish sentence I thought him while he was living here. Very useful, try it!

Bloody Teacher

Today I was a substitute teacher at my old school and idk what is happening? Strange feeling being back and on "the other side"..

Well, here are my latest favourites from the self portrait challenge since last time
