Gingerbread house

Wiiie, I got an early Christmas present from my mom today! An already cut out gingerbread house, maybe not as fun as making one myself but I was super happy for it :D
Later when we went to the store and I was looking for things to decorate it with my head went; "How can I match these colours?", "Can I make a patters out of this?", "What about some kind of theme?", "Noo.. That candy is super tasty, but shit ugly!" and so on..~
But now it's all done and I'm happy with the result! >u<

Coffee bird

Hum.. Thinking about giving this picture to my mom for Christmas or as a late birthday gift. Not sure if I like it, but it was fun to do!

Christmas cards

Last year I only sent two or three Christmas cards but they were surprisingly appreciated, so this year I wanted to send out some more and in a better quality. SO GUESS WHAT?! THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I DID!

Tho I know that I could made something better I'm glad that I did something~

Well.. I did colour it! I'm not happy with the result but well well, I didn't put my heart to it so it's no surprise!
I actually did a background for it, but it looks horrible so I won't upload that version here XD

Hum.. I think I'll start working on my Christmas cards now so that I can sent them out in time~

Random Horror

I have started to work on this picture, feels like it was long ago since I did something traditional- especially this big (A4)! Also, I still don't "know" my new Alpha Brush Markers yet so that makes thing a bit more complicated D:
I have started colouring it, but I'm not happy with how it looks now so I won't show it to you T___T

STHLM

I was in Stockholm this weekend for the first time in 3 months and it feels kind of strange.. And it feels strange that it feels strange @____@
Anyway, one good thing about visiting STHLM is that I now have some new materials!
- My all time favourite ink pencils; o.o5mm from Pigma
- Some new line art pencils from Staedtler (o.3mm), hopefully I'll have use for them.. If not it's fun and good to try something new!
- A4 paper with glue on the back! So now I can print and draw directly on them to get stickers^^ I have been looking for them for about.. 1-2 years and all I have found was small ones, like those you put to label food, books etc., and I'm really happy that I finnally found such big sheets~

Also, the reason why me and my classmates went to STHLM was to visit Perfect Fools and Great Works!

Bananasandwich

BAAAH I have a lot of shi-.. I mean, PROJECTS in school atm., and updating my blog is not in my top 5 list of things I need to do so here is a summary of things I haven't updated about:

• -My comic (posted the sketches in a previous entry) is done! I'm not 100% happy with it, but, meeeh.. don't feel like putting more effort in it.
• -One of my external teachers has giving me a list of thing to do and what not to do this mouth! A real challenge, but it's fun! Also, it have already given a positive effect~ Here is my list: Don't draw chibis or guys, draw at least one hour/day, draw stuff and environments, look at some art history for inspiration, test different materials and save EVERYTHING with a date on it. If I'm not to embarrassed of the shit I have made I'll upload some more (the girl to the right is a part of this project) here latorz!
  
• -I'm supposed to have a project in the end of my school year that is to last 15 weeks!! Hopfully I'll be in Stockholm during the time at some kind of office/company that is related to my project.
• -IT'S FUCKING COLD AND I DON'T GET PEOPLE WHO DECORATE FOR CHRISTMAS ALREADY!!
• -I now have Illustrator CS5, and by that I hope that I'll start work more in Illustrator again.

"Comic"

I'm going to make a short "comic" about myself for a school assignment, and here are the sketches~

I'm also going to make a start and a end for it, and also there is text to it buuut more of that later!

Detaljer & Alpha

Today was a goood day- I both got my Alpha Brush Markes and a book, Detaljer i hemmet (Details at home)!!

The reason why it took me so long to get my new markes was because the first time I got them they were dry.. So, I complained and they said that I, of cours, would get new ones for free. The thing was they they had sent me the last ones and bla bla bla so I had to wait some weeks extra. Anyway, I NOW HAVE THEM IN MY POSSESSION AND I LIKE THEM!! I made a fast little test picture to see that they were working okay this time, and so far so good~

And so to the book.. Well, it is fantastic! I love it, love it, LOVE IT! I'm a big sucker for details and I'm sure that I'm not the only one.

The photos are really good and fills the whole book, there are only a few sentences/words in the whole book, and it's both in Swe/Eng! It's really worth the money and I highly recommend it to all of you who love details!

Uuuh.. School is eating up all my energy so I haven't made anything worth showing here on the blog! But I won't complain, school is azum and I like the autumn (tho it has rained all day today..), hopefully it'll take a while before the winter gets here!!

Alma Löv

Yesterday me and my classmates took a trip to the fabulous Alma Löv!

The whole trip was super fun, and Alma Löv itself was so inspiringly! After that we had looked around I was so pumped up and wanted (and still do!!) to do something big, light and beautiful~
The museum is a collection of around 10-15 houses where artists (tho the most if the art was gone when we visited..) pick their favourite one and then exhibit their art. As a guest you have to walk around a kind of hard terrain outside to visit them, but it contribute to the magic that is Alma Löv!
I now feel like living in an old barn with unmatched windows and big, light rooms XD GAWD, WORDS CAN'T EXPLAIN HOW COOL IT WAS THERE!!
Unfortunately Alma Löv is now closing down for good. As I understood it it's mostly because it's too popular! Too many people are coming to visit and with that many people visit Alma Löv "just because".. With that the magic and feeling of the place is dying. I'm really sad that it has ended like that, but I really respect the decision.

I CAN'T DECIDE WHAT TO DO WITH THIS ONE!!

Also, I got my pencils (see previous post) but they where dry so I'll send them back for new ones..

Alpha Brush Markers 60set

OMG I'M SOOO HAPPY!!I have ordered these pencils now, and hopefully I'll get them in the beginning of next week! The name of the brand is Alpha and they are markers~ Of what I have read/heard of them they are just like Copic Sketch Markers, but I'll talk more about them when I have tested them out OuO

13 letters and 13 colours

Wiiie, I painted this yesterday for a customer!
The pictures are shitty, but it was late/dark when I took them and the weather today made it dark as well so hopefully I can get better ones later on D: But I hope they show the whole idea/design good enough~
Anyway, the customer seem to like it and that's always something that makes me happi happi ;u;

It's 13 different colours and 5 of those I mixed myself :3

Oh' We Crawl

Yesterday I something really cool happen!! A random dude ask me if I was interested in making a t-shirt design for his band, and HELL YEA I WAS! OuO

The band's name is Surviving the Charade and they have some cool songs up on their MySpace~

Well well, these are the designs I made for him and the band and I'll know later on which one they like the most ^^ Personally I like the second one (and the girl version) the most atm D:
Anyhow, I'll make a vector version of the design they like the most later on WHEN I KNOW MOOORE..!!

fun with markers

Ooh~ It was such a long time ago since I had this fun painting with my markers!
Each one of these 3 chibis had something fun to offer!

-I gave the first one (the one in the middle) fun details and I like the whole design of him
-The second one (first one from the left) was sooo fun to work with since I don't often use such a limited colour scale or warm colours~ But the most fun with it was that I had so many tones of just those colours and that allowed me to really work with the shading!
-The last one I did (the girl) wasn't as fun to do, and I failed allot while colouring it XD But I experimented with the "bathing ring" and learned some new things that I would like to get better at

Also, these pictures is all about 8cm tall on paper which made it difficult to colour and I have not edited them a bit in Photoshop. That means that if you enlarge the picture, you'll see all my mistakes = FUN STUFF!?

Some days ago I was sitting on the balcony, enjoying the sun and some music while drawing the sketch for this- awesome combination..!
My first thought was that I wanted to just making the sketch digital and then print it and trace the lines and colour the whole thing by hand. But now I have realised that it won't be like that.. XD The big size of just the sketch (well.. it is a lot bigger "irl"!!) is to tempting now that I soon will have the possibility to print into a monstrous poser.. ._____.
OH ABOUT THAT I'M GOING TO MOVE TO SUNNE IN SEPTEMBER SINCE I'LL START AS A STUDENT AT BROBY GRAFISKA ON THE 6th!! I got in to the Cross Media Creator program.. OuO

Eh, more updates on the picture and the school later when I got more info/material.. XD

Cold

Oh I don't know for how long I have been wanting to make a picture like this.. ;___;
It's so typical TnT I've been bored all day, trying to come up with something to draw, and then, around 11-12PM [it's now 01.55AM..], I started to doodle on this picture and couldn't stop doing so! And like.. WTH!? I'm happy with it and everything as well.. The only thing I screw up was the sice.. It's only 825x597 pixels big and the DPI is 180 =_____=

Practice makes perfect, ey?

I'm a sucker for drawings without any outlines- but I suck at doing them myself.. OTL
SO!! Yesterday I decided to take a break from what I was doing at the time and do something out of a tiny little sketch I had made earlier that day. As I started doing the line art I thought to my self that his hair was really fluffy.. and I think it was at that point that I decides to screw the lines and practice colouring without them! D:
I'm pretty happy with the result, but of course I would love to get better at drawing like this!
Practice makes perfect, ey?

Also, I made this picture earlier today!
Not sure if I like it, it really was a fast thing that I had to finish for a school application.. I hope that they don't judge all my "skills" after this silly picture! o__o'
Anyway, the main assignment was to create a promotion plan for a business that exist in Sweden. I choose the ice cream company Ben & Jerry's.. XD
So what this picture is for is to show what Ben & Jerry's resembles.. =___=

Handmade

Did this little thingie today~ It's some kind of a folder!
It was the first time I tried to make one and I didn't use any kind of tutorials! I just.. did it and it turned out like this- pretty nice if you ask me! D:
I know it's small, but it's made for small things so that's just a good thing ^^ Makes it easier to carry with
The sice of it is 11,5x16x1,5cm and it has 12 "pockets". The "pockets" is made of ordinary paper, so this folder can also be used as a sketch book ouo

Bling bling~

Today I was at Hyper Island, for one of their recruitment days~ It was a lot of fun and I met some cool new ppl! For me, Hyper Island feels like a really fun and "cosy" school with a good attitude.
BUT YEAH, while at Hyper Island I was wearing a necklaces I have made and after a while I remembered that I haven't posted any pictures of it here on my blog D:

Also, earlier this week I visited Broby Grafiska for their workshop/interview day. It was fun to be there and everyone was verry nice, but I feel that I have some stuff to think about.. But DERP I fell in love with one of their BIG ASS printers.. XD

Nacka Konsthall

Okay okay, so, I'm really slooow.. but as some of you know I attended in a art exhibition earlier this spring~ I was showing some of the Bloody Rainbow t-shirts I have made, since they was a big part in my school project!
I didn't get as much feedback as I had hoped for, but it was fun to be a part of the exhibition ^^
