Weekend

I'm in a good mood for drawing, this long weekend comes perfectly! Hopefully I'll spend it with lots of drawing and walks in the sun.
I've started on a short 'six-box' comic and also working on this fun piece~

Anna Ritar

One blog that I started out following with not that much enthusiasm but now look at every day is Anna Ritar.

I love the variation in her work and I don't mind reading about her personal life either. It's everything from outfits, craft work tutorials, second hand, her home and husband, portraits (a lot of them!) and thoughts about life.
She seems like a really cool, down to earth, fun and of course super creative person!
I don't think it's necessary to know Swedish to get inspired by her blog. But in one post she is explaining what she does for a living and while reading it I though Wow, this is what I have tried to explain and want to achieve!

Bad Boy

So, I couldn't figure out how to finish the previous picture so I started with the second one!
I forgot to mention it, but both these pictures (also one more coming up!) are for this years Uttryck, a magazine made as a student project.
And yes.. It looks messy, but this is how I make stuff~

Text: Here we can draw or write something good!

I Make Stuff

Close-ups of the project I'm working on atm. The colouring and line art is much inspired from the work I do at House of Radon.

Spicy Carmen

Take a look at this fantastic show reel made by my lovely, and talented, friend Carmen Angelillo!

New York

If there's something I love, it's small creative projects that are like candy for the eyes.
Quite recently I stumbled upon Windows of New York. I love the simple idea of it all- to illustrate windows! Makes you think of how the simplest things that we take for granted can be so lovely.. I think the style is fantastic, the flat vector strokes and warm colour combinations.

I'm so looking forward to start projects like this! Me and Nidia have been doing some talking, and now when spring is on it's way I think its a good time to start.
